Our program begins in early kindergarten with immersion in French and Spanish. Students attain a strong command of those languages and, beginning in fifth grade, they turn to German as a primary immersion language, yet continue classes in Spanish and French

To help ensure student success, there are two grade ranges where we are able to admit new students: early kindergarten through second grade, where French and Spanish are the focus, and beginning again at fourth, fifth or sixth grade, where German becomes the focus. 

When you are ready to apply to Heartwood Grove School we ask that you complete our online application by clicking the APPLY button below.

For Grades EK-2nd, students will visit once morning with a parent and another morning alone.

Students entering middle school (5th or 6th grade) should attend an open house and schedule a second visit for academic assessments.

In addition to completing the Application for Admission, the following should be mailed to the school:

1. A non-refundable application fee of $55 per applying student;
2. Any previous school transcripts (not required of entering kindergarten students);
3. Recommendation form(s), downloadable below:

• Grades K-2: A teacher recommendation;
• 5th grade and up:  Recommendations from a math and a humanities teacher (English or Social Studies).

Early Kindergarten - 2nd Grade ONLY:  After filling out the application for your child/children, please sign up for a Wednesday or Thursday morning visit.

Additional meetings or visits may be requested by the school or the parent(s) to make sure the school is a good fit for the child. 

The school then makes a final enrollment decision.  If the decision is to move forward, an Annual Enrollment and Tuition Agreement is offered to the parent(s). 

Once an Agreement is offered, the child's space is held for 30 days to allow the parent(s) to review and submit the signed Agreement and fees. Learn more about Tuition and Fees.
